This is the question posed by the latest newsletter of the Food Safety Information Council. Would you be surprised to know that an average of 86 people a year die from food poisoning? Compare this to only around TWO per year for shark attacks.

Healthy food is first and foremost safe food!

That's why we're tackling food safety in this month's Foodwatch Newsletter.

Each year in Australia 2.1 million work days are lost because of food poisoning. That is quite a hit to the economy! Not to mention all the unnecessary suffering it causes. Take a look at our newsletter as well as the Food Safety Information Council's website  to check out what you can do to keep yourself and your loved ones safe from this curse.

As usual there's much more in our July Newsletter.
